Neonatal Advanced Practice Practitioner (NP or PA)
Salary Range: $130,499 – $195,749 annually

Requirements to apply
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program (Master’s degree required)
• Active RN & APRN license (for NPs) or Physician Assistant license (for PAs)
• Prescriptive Authority License & Board Certification (NNP or PA-C with neonatal experience)
• BLS/CPR (AHA), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
• Minimum three years’ combined RN, NP, or PA neonatal experience (high-risk neonatal preferred)

Full-time Neonatal Advanced Practice Practitioner opportunity in Aurora, CO, working within a Level III NICU environment. Multiple FTEs available, with flexible scheduling (minimum 20 hours/week to be benefits-eligible). ________________________________________
Job Overview
The Neonatal Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) provides Family-Centered Care to infants and toddlers up to age two, delivering primary, acute, chronic, and critical care. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive histories and physicals, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies, prescribing medications and therapies, and making appropriate referrals.
APPs function as both direct care providers and clinical leaders, emphasizing evidence-based practice, collaboration, and family-centered care. This role also includes mentoring, preceptorship, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
Shifts: 24-hour shifts (6:00am–6:00am) with opportunities for 12-hour day or night schedules. Weekend, holiday, and call coverage required.
