Description
- Work Dates Needed: July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027 w/option to extend
- Preferred Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm. Lunch will be unpaid. 40 hrs/wk. Overtime may be required based on patient care needs. Typically up to 2 extra hours per day. No federal holiday or weekends.
- Worksite Setting: Outpatient
- Scope of Work: Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist needed for outpatient clinic. Diagnose and treat acute, chronic and urgent mental health conditions. Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications. Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments, etc. Approx. 12 to 16 patients/day. Ability to work in a rural, culturally diverse IHS setting.
- Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Any state license and Federal DEA, BLS, Board Certified, Security Clearance/Background Check and Fingerprinting is required. Current immunizations.
