Description
We are seeking a dedicated Psychologist for an impactful 60-day assignment in Louisiana, starting Jul 13, 2026. Our client needs a proactive professional to establish and manage a new psychology service within their tribal clinic. The role involves a Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm hybrid schedule, requiring one week per month onsite. Responsibilities include general psychology assessments, court-ordered cases, addressing trauma, depression, anxiety, crisis intervention, and substance abuse for a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities and Duties - Provide general psychology assessments.
- Manage court-ordered cases.
- Address high levels of PTSD stemming from generational trauma within the Native Population.
- Treat depression and anxiety.
- Handle crisis calls and suicide prevention.
- Assess and treat personality disorders.
- Support MAT clients.
- Address addiction and alcohol abuse.
Additional Information - Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm.
- Hybrid model: One week per month onsite for face-to-face meetings, with remote work possible for the remainder.
