Neuro ICU Registered Nurse

What You'll Do:
- Provide expert nursing care to neurocritical patients in a specialized ICU setting
- Monitor and manage patients’ intracranial pressures, ventilators, telemetry, and IV lines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Demonstrate proficiency in EHR documentation using Epic
- Adapt quickly by floating within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of Neuro ICU experience
- Current BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (all through AHA certifications)
- Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry, ventilator management, and intracranial pressure monitoring
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
- Ability to efficiently work in a fast-paced environment with patient ratios of 1:1-2
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous travel nursing experience in ICU settings
- Additional certifications or specialized training in neurocritical care or ventilator management
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Registered Nurse with an active RN license
- At least 2 years of ICU experience, preferably in neurocritical care or similar units
Other Requirements:
- Flexibility to work rotating day/night shifts, including every other weekend
- Ability to float within units of comparable or lower acuity

This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $59.18, with a shift length of 12 hours for day or night rotation starting June 29, 2026.
