What You’ll Bring:
- Valid Registered Nurse license from the MN Board of Nursing
- Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist
- Minimum of 1 year of anesthesia experience
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia procedures; note that CRNA do not perform blocks, epidurals, or spinals
- ACLS and BLS Tier 2 certifications upon hire
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills
- Ability to commit to at least two consecutive weeks per month for the first three months
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in tertiary or level III facilities
- Familiarity with Care Team Model 4:1 staffing
- Additional certifications or training related to specialized anesthesia procedures
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
- At least one year of recent CRNA practice in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
- Must reside 50 miles or more from Abbott Northwestern to qualify
- Willingness to work 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, including days starting at 6:30 am
- Ability to complete a 3-day paid orientation starting the second Monday of each month
- Credentialing process duration: approximately 3-4 months
- Ongoing contract with a commitment of a minimum of 36 hours per week, with scheduling flexibility after initial months
- Travel and licensure reimbursements available when applicable
