Required Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting
- Current BCLS certification
- Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records system
- Strong skills in dysrhythmia interpretation, port access, arterial line management, and blood product administration
- Experience with central line, PICC line, and IV start procedures
- Ability to assist with chest tube insertions/removals and interpret ABGs
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Experience with GE telemetry systems and specialized hospital equipment such as Alaris pumps, Stryker beds, and bladder scanners
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Valid RN license in your state
- 2+ years of recent Medical-Surgical or Telemetry nursing experience in an acute care setting
- Oncology experience is preferred but not mandatory
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work 12-hour shifts on days (07:00 - 19:30) or nights (19:00 - 07:30) on a 3x12 schedule, including rotating shifts based on departmental needs
- Commitment to infection prevention protocols and patient safety standards
- Travel experience is highly valued and preferred
