Join a 13-week travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) assignment in West Palm Beach, FL, with 8-hour day shifts in a skilled nursing facility. West Palm Beach is known for its beautiful beaches, vibrant arts scene, and outdoor activities, making it an ideal location for your next assignment.
As a PTA, you will assist physical therapists in providing physical therapy treatments and procedures. You will help develop treatment plans, carry out routine functions, document patient progress, and modify specific treatments based on patient status. Your role includes performing assessments such as measuring range of motion and strength, implementing interventions like exercises and modalities, and educating patients and families about their condition. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals is also a key part of your responsibilities.
To qualify, you must have formal training and licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Experience in skilled nursing or transitional care is preferred but not required.
