Description
An outpatient pediatric rehab facility in Denton, TX is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their team.
The occupational therapist plans and conducts individualized occupational therapy programs to help patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities. He or she teaches patients skills/techniques and how to use adaptive equipment for participating in activities.
The OT will also study, evaluate, and record patients' activities and progress. He or she may also:
-Evaluate a patient's condition and needs
-Develop a treatment plan for patients, identifying specific goals and the types of activities that will be used to help the patient work toward those goals
-Educate a patient's family and employer about how to accommodate and care for the patient
