Well-known rehab organization is seeking a Physical Therapist to join their team. He or she will work in a mix of a homecare and assisted living and will cover the greater Tampa area.
The physical therapist is responsible for evaluating/assessing needs of referred patients and formulating treatment plans. Provides therapy services defined in treatment plans. Work cooperatively with physicians, case managers, and adjustors. The Physical Therapist will help patients accomplish treatment plan and accept therapeutic devices by administering manual exercises. The PT will instruct, encourage, and assist patients in performing physical activities, such as ambulatory functional activities, daily-living activities and in using assistive and supportive devices. He or she will also help restore patient's function, alleviates pain, and prevents disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed physical therapy
