Description
Long-term Gastroenterology locums opportunity in Virginia supporting outpatient and telehealth services within an established healthcare system. Ongoing need with stable weekday schedule and no call responsibilities.Job Responsibilities:
• Outpatient GI coverage
• Telehealth visits
• Upper and lower GI endoscopy procedures
• Colonoscopy with biopsy and polypectomy
• ERCP and advanced GI procedures preferred
• APP supervision
• Admissions as needed Qualifications:
• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Fellowship trained
• Active Virginia license required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic EMR experience preferred Working Hours:
• Monday–Friday
• 7:30am–5:00pm
• No call Skills:
• EGD
• Colonoscopy
• ERCP
• EUS
• PEG placement
• Esophageal dilation/manometry
• Liver biopsy
• Advanced GI procedural experience preferred
