Description
We are seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Physician for a 60-day assignment in MA, starting Aug 14, 2026. This role involves providing psychiatric care in an acute psychiatric unit setting, managing various disorders such as anxiety, affective, and personality disorders, and utilizing treatment techniques like pharmacotherapy and group therapy. The typical schedule is M-F, 8:30-4:30, with 6-10 patient encounters per shift.
Responsibilities and Duties - Provide psychiatric care in an acute psychiatric unit/institute setting
- CPI training Required
- Address clinical areas including anxiety disorders, affective disorder, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, eating disorders, development disorders, psychotic disorders, and organic disorders
- Demonstrate familiarity with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint application
- Utilize treatment techniques such as pharmacotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, and ECT
- Manage 6-10 patient encounters per shift
