Rutland, Vermont: A respected regional medical center serving a large regional population in central Vermont seeks an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Inpatient Psychiatric Services Department. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide meaningful, patient-centered psychiatric care in a structured inpatient setting while enjoying the unmatched four-season lifestyle of the Green Mountains.You will work in close collaboration with the Medical Director of Psychiatric Services and a team of board-certified psychiatrists, providing care to patients with major mental illness and supporting consultative services to medical/surgical inpatients and the Emergency Department. This is a weekday position with no call – resulting in an excellent work/life balance. Typical patient volume does not exceed eight per day, supporting a thoughtful, quality-focused approach to care. You will be employed by this 140-bed nonprofit regional medical center – the state’s second largest – and practice in a modern, well-equipped facility.
