Position Highlights:
• 10–13 shifts per month
• September coverage includes evenings and nights (3p–12a and 10p–7a)
• October–December coverage is nights only (7p–7a)
• 25-bed Emergency Department
• Average daily census of 20–24 patients
• Approximately 2.5–3 patients per hour
• 14% pediatric patient volume
• EPIC EMR system
• Housing provided plus ferry transportation covered

Practice Setting:
• Critical Access Hospital with limited onsite specialty support
• Seeking physicians comfortable practicing independently in a community/rural environment
• Scheduled shifts only — no call required

Requirements:
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine REQUIRED
• No Internal Medicine or Family Practice physicians accepted
• Active Massachusetts license required
• ACLS certification required
• DEA required
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Medicine experience

Additional Details:
• Credentialing timeframe: approximately 3–4 months
• Hospital is not willing to license candidates
