Description
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner - Family Practice for a 7-day assignment in Maine, commencing Jun 17, 2026. This role involves managing patients of all ages for various ailments and wellness checks, with shifts typically running from 8am-1pm. The practitioner will also provide crucial support to our EMS crew on emergency calls, including patient transport, demonstrating a commitment to comprehensive community healthcare.
Responsibilities and Duties - Provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, addressing various ailments and conducting wellness checks.
- Support our EMS crew on every call, responding to 911 medical emergencies via pager.
- Accompany patients during emergency transportation, which may involve a ferry, boat, or small plane, to the mainland for transfer or drop-off at the ER.
- Exercise discretion to reschedule appointments as needed when called out to attend an emergency.
