Description

Our client in Maine seeks a dedicated Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 7-day assignment starting Jun 17, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive family practice care, including wellness checks for patients of all ages, and supporting the EMS crew on emergency calls with patient transport. Shifts are primarily 8am-1pm, with flexibility to reschedule appointments as needed for emergency response.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive family practice care to patients of all ages
  • Conduct wellness checks and manage a variety of ailments
  • Support the EMS crew on all emergency calls
  • Respond to 911 medical emergencies via pager, traveling with patients to mainland facilities
  • Facilitate patient transportation by ferry, boat, or small plane as required
  • Exercise discretion to reschedule appointments when called out for emergencies
