Description
Large acute care hospital in Minnesota seeking a Board Certified Hematology/Oncology physician for ongoing locums coverage supporting inpatient oncology and hematology consult services.This opportunity offers a collaborative inpatient environment with APP support, home call, and ongoing scheduling needs. Job Responsibilities:
• Lead inpatient oncology team
• Manage malignant and benign oncology cases
• Perform hematology consults
• Supervise Advanced Practice Providers
• See new consults and follow-up patients
• Participate in overnight and weekend home call Qualifications:
• BC Hematology/Oncology
• Minnesota license or IMLC
• Epic EMR experience required
• DEA required
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred Working Hours:
• Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm
• Overnight and weekend home call
• Week-long call rotations Skills:
• Inpatient medical oncology
• Hematology consult management
• APP supervision
• Malignant oncology experience
• Epic EMR proficiency
