- Multi-specialty medical-surgical community hospital ICU
- High acuity
- Census:
- 10-15 ICU patients per APP
- Support Staff:Â
- Attending Physician availableÂ
- Procedures:Â
- Collaborate with attending MDs to develop plan of care and communicate dynamic changes throughout shift
- Conduct ongoing patient assessments and implement appropriate interventions
- Order entry (Cerner EMR) and thorough documentation of History and Physicals, Consultations, Event / Follow-up Notes and Procedure Notes
- Interpret diagnostic testing
- Communicate with ICU nursing staff
- Participate in multi-disciplinary rounds each shift
- Perform invasive procedures including, but not limited to, central line insertions (CVLs, vascaths and introducers) and arterial line insertionsÂ
- EMR:Â
- Board Certification:Â
- Acute Care certified Required for NPsÂ
- Travel:Â
- Looking for commutable candidatesÂ
- Credentialing timeline:
