What You'll Do:
As a Registered Nurse in Pediatric Surgery, you'll play a vital role in preparing and supporting young patients through their surgical journey. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care, ensuring the best outcomes for our pediatric patients.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of OR experience with documented travel experience.
- Current BLS and PALS certifications.
- EPIC RTO proficiency is required.
- Strong knowledge of neuro, ortho, ENT, general, and eye surgeries.
- Ability to scrub is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must complete flu vaccination, with no exemptions accepted.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in office surgery procedures.
- Ability to adapt to variable shifts, including weekends and 12-hour days.
- Prior experience in a NICOTINE-FREE facility.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Valid RN license with at least two years of OR experience in pediatric or general surgery settings.
- Experience working in a neuro, ortho, ENT, or eye surgery environment is highly desirable.
Other Requirements:
- Flu vaccination mandatory for the flu season; no exemptions accepted.
- Must be tested for nicotine along with drug screening.
- Ability to work variable shifts with no call requirements.
- Must include a recent supervisor or manager reference for OR.
