Description
We are seeking an Orthopedic Trauma Physician for a 50-day assignment in South Dakota, starting Jul 13, 2026. This role involves 24-hour out-of-house call coverage from 7am-7am each day, providing specialized orthopedic trauma care at a Trauma Center. The physician will handle a range of cases, including bread and butter hand injuries, shoulders/arms, fractures, and ER consults, requiring expertise in Ortho trauma and experience with pelvis and acetabulum cases.
Responsibilities and Duties - Provide 24-hour out-of-house call coverage in an Orthopedic Trauma setting at a trauma center.
- Manage call coverage for Ortho/Ortho Trauma cases from 7am-7am each day.
- Treat a variety of cases including bread and butter hand injuries, shoulders/arms, and fractures.
- Handle Ortho trauma cases and ER consults.
- Perform procedures related to pelvis and acetabulum injuries.
Additional Information - Board Certification in Orthopaedic Surgery is required.
- Experience with Epic EMR system.
