Locum Tenens OB/GYN Physician (MD/DO) coverage is needed in Flagstaff, AZ for a busy, hospital-based OB/GYN service providing 24-hour beeper call coverage with scheduled weekend blocks from July through September 2026. This is a high-callback environment with an expected delivery volume of approximately 1–3 deliveries per shift and 8–12 callback hours per shift. The physician will provide full-scope OB/GYN hospital coverage, including labor and delivery support, postpartum and OB triage as needed, and gynecologic consults/call coverage. Responsibilities also include responding promptly to beeper call and managing callbacks efficiently, documenting patient care and orders in the Cerner EMR, collaborating closely with nursing, anesthesia, pediatrics, and hospital teams according to site protocols, and completing charts and medical records in a timely manner while addressing any deficiencies.

Skills

• MD/DO with Board Certified or Board Eligible status in OB/GYN
• Active Arizona license or IMLC LOQ (license in process acceptable per guidelines)
• Active DEA (required)
• Minimum 1 year OB/GYN experience (hospital-based experience strongly preferred)
• Ability to credential quickly: estimated 15–20 days
• Able to complete remote Cerner training (~4 hours) the week prior to start
