Description
Our client in NM is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for a 120-day assignment starting Jul 20, 2026. This role involves providing culturally sensitive, full-spectrum Family Medicine care to Native American and Alaska Native communities, focusing on diagnosis, treatment planning, and managing acute and chronic conditions. The schedule is Monday–Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities and Duties - Provide full-spectrum Family Medicine, including outpatient clinic, inpatient care (average census 5–15), OB care, and emergency care support for a 24/7 facility.
- Perform history and physical examinations (H&P), diagnose conditions, and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Order and interpret laboratory results and imaging studies.
- Manage both acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Admit patients and coordinate higher level care as needed.
- Conduct rounding on inpatients and provide call coverage.
- Educate patients and ensure appropriate follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with CMS and Joint Commission standards.
