Join Our Team as a Travel Registered Nurse — Telemetry I (Day Shifts)
Exciting Opportunity for Experienced RNs to Make a Difference!
Are you a dedicated RN passionate about providing top-tier care in a dynamic cardiac and telemetry environment? We are seeking talented and compassionate Travel Registered Nurses for DAY shifts (7AM-7PM) to join our team on a temporary basis with the potential to transition into a permanent role. You'll enjoy a rewarding work environment, competitive pay, and the opportunity to impact patient lives while exploring new locations.
What You'll Bring:
- Valid RN license in your state or proof of a multi-state compact license
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- At least 1 year of experience in cardiac or telemetry nursing preferred
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical skills
- Ability to work independently while providing compassionate patient care
- Proven capability to adapt to evolving clinical situations and work effectively within a diverse team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with electronic medical records and documentation
- Prior experience in a fast-paced telemetry setting
- Certification in specialty areas relevant to cardiac care
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of related nursing experience in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
- Availability for scheduled weekend shifts (every other weekend)
- Ability to efficiently manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1-6:1 depending on staffing
- Willingness to attend new nurse orientation and participate in onboarding processes
- Must adhere to all facility and state-specific licensure and certification requirements
