Join Our Team as an RN - PACU and Make a Difference in Patient Recovery!
Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for perioperative care? We are seeking a compassionate and skilled RN to join our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. In this vital role, you will be at the forefront of patient recovery, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality care during crucial post-operative hours. What You'll Bring:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school; a Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar clinical setting.
- Valid RN license in the state of practice.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI certifications from the American Heart Association or equivalent.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records and healthcare software.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to adapt to diverse patient populations with cultural sensitivity.
Nice to Have:
- Certification in a clinical specialty area.
- Additional training or experience in critical care, anesthesia support, or quality improvement initiatives.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Minimum of 2 years in a fast-paced PACU, ICU, or similar high-acuity environment.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities or prior charge nurse experience.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work day shift, 8-hour hours, starting June 1, 2026.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally, with physical stamina to perform heavy work.
- Commitment to maintaining strict infection control standards in a healthcare setting.
- Compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Must hold current certifications and licensure, with reimbursement provided for eligible travel or certification expenses.
