Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse passionate about providing exceptional perioperative care? We are seeking a highly skilled RN for our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to lead the way in patient recovery and safety. In this vital role, you will deliver compassionate, high-quality care, coordinate seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams, and support patients through their post-surgical journey. Required Skills:
- Current RN license in the practicing state
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant PACU or perioperative nursing experience
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI from American Heart Association and Crisis Prevention Institute
- Proficiency with computer systems, software, and electronic medical records
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to delegate effectively and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Certification in a clinical nursing specialty
- Experience with patient education and cultural competence
- Familiarity with current healthcare regulations and standards
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
- At least 2+ years of PACU or surgical nursing experience in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving lifting and pushing as required for patient care
- Willingness to work mid-shift for 8-hour hours
- Commitment to compliance with all healthcare laws, accreditation standards, and safety protocols
