What You’ll Bring:
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU experience, preferably with experience in a teaching hospital setting
- Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to adapt quickly
- Experience with EPIC documentation and Pyxis medication systems
- Ability to float within OSU as needed and work every other/third weekend
Additional Skills That Are a Plus:
- Charge RN experience
- Experience caring for burn, reconstructive, urology, GYN, ENT, or oral/maxillofacial surgery patients
- Prior experience in a similar patient population or unit systems
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Nursing degree from an accredited program
- Proven track record of exemplary patient care within a hospital environment
- Previous charge nurse and teaching hospital experience
Additional Requirements:
- Must hold a valid licensure and certifications
- Willingness to work night shifts (3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
- Ability to work every other/third weekend and float within OSU
