Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat Emergency Department patients


• Perform emergency procedures as clinically indicated


• Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and hospital personnel


• Maintain timely and accurate documentation


• Follow hospital quality and patient safety protocols

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine preferred


• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians with Emergency Medicine experience accepted


• Active Florida license or ability to obtain


• DEA required


• ACLS certification required


• Prior locums or community hospital experience preferred
