Our client in Tennessee is seeking a skilled Cardiologist for a 42-day locum tenens assignment, beginning Jun 1, 2026. This full-time role involves daily inpatient rounding with an APP team for 10 hours on weekdays, and 24-hour weekend call coverage. The focus is exclusively on inpatient general cardiology, including CCU/ICU patients, with no outpatient clinic responsibilities.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform inpatient rounding with the APP team
• Manage an average of 10 inpatient post-operative patients per day
• Provide care for general inpatient and CCU/ICU cases
• Cover full-time weekday shifts (10 hours)
• Provide weekend call coverage (24 hours)
• Manage cases including chest pain/ACS, heart failure, hypertension/dyslipidemia, atrial fibrillation/other arrhythmias, and valve disease
• Perform preventive cardiology duties
• Provide post-procedure follow up
