Position Overview

This role provides direct, skilled nursing care to incarcerated individuals in secure clinical environments. You will collaborate with medical providers and correctional staff to deliver patient care in a way that is safe, ethical, and compliant with healthcare and institutional standards.

Key Responsibilities

Provide assessments, treatments, and medication administration
Triage and manage routine and emergency health situations
Assist in minor medical and surgical procedures
Educate patients within standardized clinical protocols
Maintain thorough and confidential documentation
Adhere to infection control and safety practices
Operate clinical equipment and manage medical supplies
Participate in training, including de-escalation and self-defense
Required Qualifications

Active RN or LPN license in South Dakota or a state in the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
Ability to work full-time with flexibility for weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
Strong communication, decision-making, and organizational skills
Capability to respond to urgent/emergency medical situations
Proficiency in reading and writing English fluently

All positions require successful completion of background checks and training including:
Basic Training Academy
Threat Pattern Recognition (TPR) self-defense course
Some roles may require physical intervention in the case of medical or security incidents
