A hospital is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is seeking both MD anesthesiologists and CRNAs for immediate hire, operating under a 4:1 physician-supervised model. The schedule includes four 9-hour spots and one 8-hour spot, Monday through Friday, with no call at this time but potential for future call as the site expands. Case types include general surgery and endoscopy, with no cardiovascular or OB cases. The site is projected to handle approximately 2,500 surgical cases and 1,000 endoscopy cases per year. Coverage includes five anesthetizing locations each workday, with four ORs running from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and non-OR coverage from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Physicians are expected to remain in the PACU until their patients are medically ready for discharge. The EMR system used is EPIC, and rush credentialing is available for an April 20 start.
