This position is inpatient only, with 24-hour unrestricted call shifts, including nights and weekends. BLS (AHA) and NRP certifications are required. The provider will not be required to remain on-site while on call, serve as ER backup, or perform ICU/critical care duties but will respond to codes. Procedures include intubation, UVC placement, surfactant delivery, arterial puncture, and NRP, with a daily inpatient census of 35 newborns.
