Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains patient safety and well-being in accordance with established policies and procedures, as well as managing medical treatment and nursing care services to patients as prescribed. The RN also manages the medical supply inventory and maintains current certification and licensure. The Nurse Coordinator will be required to operate in a “hands on” capacity in the role as nurse manager, including working the hours necessary to fulfill the organization and department needs.
Skills
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Current Florida Registered Nurse license
Experience treating substance abuse and/or Department of Corrections populations preferred.
2+ years of nursing experience
Administration of medications, acquisition of vital signs and documentation of interventions.
Ability to communicate with interdisciplinary team about patient’s care.
