POSITION SUMMARY: The purpose of the Charge Nurse position is to assist the Manager or Director in providing nursing leadership to the nursing unit. This role will provide feedback to the Manager or Director regarding patient care, budgetary and strategic planning opportunities for improvement

And much more! Qualifications EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:
- Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN required
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
- State of Florida RN License required
- BLS – AHA Healthcare Provider required upon hire
- ACLS required within 90 days of hire (for those RN’s responsible for post anesthesia recovery of ECT patients)
- CPI required within 90 days of hire
- RN-C preferred
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:
- Acute care experience preferred
- A minimum of 2 years behavioral health RN experience is required
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES: Clinical expertise - Tactful communication skills and the ability
to listen, empathize and respond to patient, family, internal and external partners needs
