Unit Description: The Endoscopy Unit at Capital Regional Medical Center consists of five procedure/treatment rooms, all of which are negative pressure rooms. The Endoscopy unit provides diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic care to a patient population, which usually ranges from adult thru geriatric. The in some cases diagnostic care is rendered to pediatric patients. The Endoscopy Unit is staffed by specially trained personnel who assist credentialed physicians in the performance of endoscopic procedures to diagnose, care, and treat patients.

Position Summary: Provide professional nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process. To collaborate with other members of the health care delivery team including physicians, to deliver quality health care.
