Responsibilities:
Oversees the hiring, orientation, evaluation, training and supervision of staff, volunteers, and interns.
Develops program policy and procedure; negotiates with funding agencies; participates in relevant committees; coordinates and acts as liaison with other agencies; establishes and maintains on on-going evaluation of program effectiveness and clinical intervention as needed.

Interfaces with related community agencies, attends meetings as scheduled; including the Department of Mental Health and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act related issues.

Measures progress against plans and stated goals as it applies to adult, family, substance use or residential program outcomes.

Collaborates with Division Director of Quality Improvement to develop program protocol and ensures that program elements are in compliance with Agency, County, State and other regulatory agencies.

Requirements:
Current California licensure as a Psychologist, Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist
Three (3) + years' senior management experience in a mental health and/or substance use setting providing clinical service and supervision.
Working knowledge of directing and managing multiple programs in adult and family mental health and/or substance abuse services in a non-profit social service/mental health/substance abuse environment.
Know and comply with Agency policies and procedures, HIPAA, and other state, federal regulations relating to adult and family service programs for individuals with a history of mental illness and/or substance abuse.
Current California driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to the Agency’s insurance carrier.
