One must demonstrate knowledge of the conditions/diagnoses, procedures and equipment encountered for surgical patient’s. One should have strong patient care skills and be able to individualize patient care according to the procedure and type of anesthesia across the continuum of care. One should also be able to assesses patient reaction and understanding of procedure/instructions.
