What You’ll Do:
- Perform nuclear stress testing on a mobile imaging unit with a team of transportation professionals.
- Conduct quality control on imaging equipment and calibrators daily.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals via IV with precision and safety.
- Acquire and process diagnostic images, ensuring high-quality results.
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and department policies.
- Troubleshoot technical or equipment issues on the road.
- Document patient data and imaging results accurately in PACS/Epic systems.
- Support the mobile team in preparing and managing radioisotope materials.
- Provide guidance to new staff and assist with patient care as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification at time of application (no pending licenses accepted).
- Kansas Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT).
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR record.
- Ability to work independently, travel to outreach locations, and operate or obtain a Class B CDL within six months.
- Strong technical skills in nuclear medicine procedures and equipment handling.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and safety practices.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Siemens Ecam or CardioMD systems.
- Previous mobile nuclear medicine or cardiology experience.
- CDL license preferred.
- Ability to lift and position patients, work standing for long periods, and adapt to various environments.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Prior experience in nuclear medicine or mobile imaging preferred but not mandatory.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel regularly to outreach sites; this position involves up to 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday, with optional Fridays to meet weekly hours.
- No call, weekends, or holiday work required.
- Commitment to compliance with all safety, infection control, and radiation standards.
- Starting as early as 5:00 am on select days, with typical start at 6:00 am.
