Job Title: Psychiatry Physician
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Psychiatry Physician to provide critical mental health services in a hospital setting during a 3-month maternity leave period. This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality care to adult patients, supporting their recovery and well-being. Join us in a professional environment that values your expertise and dedication, ensuring you have the tools and support needed to succeed.
Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Psychiatry
- Valid State Medical License
- Minimum of 1 year of psychiatric practice experience
- Proficiency in medication management and therapy (Med Checks)
- Familiarity with electronic medical records, particularly Cerner
- Strong communication and patient management skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with hospital-based psychiatric care
- Additional certifications in mental health or related fields
- Experience with Medicaid or Medicare billing processes
- Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- At least 1 year of relevant psychiatric practice experience in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
- DEA registration (in progress or available)
- Willingness to obtain WV temporary license or eligible for licensing
- Ability to work 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday
- Comfortable working in a 25-bed hospital environment
