Required Skills:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with certification in Critical Care or Pediatric Critical Care (or equivalent specialization)
- Proven experience in ICU, Critical Care, or Neonatal Intensive Care Units
- Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations effectively
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and current clinical guidelines in critical care
Nice to Have Skills:
- Advanced certifications such as ACNP, AGACNP, or CCRN
- Experience in neonatal or pediatric intensive care units
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU or critical care experience, preferably in a hospital setting
- Licensure and certification in your state to practice as a Nurse Practitioner
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Travel reimbursement for required mobile or off-site assignments when applicable
