What You’ll Do:
- Provide specialized urological care, including cystoscopy, stent placement, kidney stone treatment, and consultation services.
- Support hospital operations during 24-hour call shifts, ensuring continuous coverage and high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nursing, anesthesia, and emergency services to deliver comprehensive care.
- Rounding on inpatient cases each morning and managing urgent procedures as needed at a leading hospital serving the Clearfield, Elk, and Brookville regions.
Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Urology (Required)
- PA State Medical License (Required)
- Minimum 1 year of Urology practice experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Proficiency in EMR systems: Cerner (inpatient), GE Centricity (outpatient)
- Strong procedural skills including cystoscopy, stent placement, and nephrolithotomy procedures
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with holmium laser lithotripsy
- Prior work in a hospital setting with adult patient populations
- Ability to quickly adapt to new clinical environments and workflows
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of post-residency experience in urology
- Demonstrated ability to handle a high-volume practice and manage complex cases
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work 24-hour call shifts on scheduled dates starting June 29, 2026
- Ability to obtain emergency privileges within 1-2 weeks of application
- Travel expenses reimbursed when applicable
- Commitment to providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment
