Opportunity Highlights

• Start Date: Immediate availability with assignments running through May 31, 2025.


• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, covering inpatient, outpatient, OR procedures, consultations, and rounding.


• Call Requirements: On-call duties required from Friday evening to the following Friday evening. Prompt response times needed during business hours (30 minutes).


• Patient Volume: Manage approximately 11-13 patients per shift, with 1-4 admissions during on-call hours.


• Practice Setting: A blend of inpatient and outpatient services.


• Technology: Facility utilizes the Epic EMR system.

Qualifications

• Board Certification: Required in Gastroenterology.


• Licensure: Active Pennsylvania medical license required.


• Certifications: ACLS and BLS are mandatory.


• Skills & Procedures: Expertise in the following is highly preferred:

  • Biopsies and polyp removal
  
  
  • ERCP diagnostic and therapeutic techniques

• Trauma Level: Non-trauma facility.


• Privileges: Temporary hospital privileges are available. Estimated credentialing time: 60-90 days.
