We are actively seeking a dedicated Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Physician Assistant for a compelling 40-day assignment in New York, commencing Aug 17, 2026. This vital role involves providing comprehensive care during 12-hour day shifts, typically 8a - 8p, managing an average of 5-9 inpatient critical care cases daily within a pediatric hospital. Responsibilities include rounding with attending physicians and performing critical procedures to support patients in the CICU.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive care during 12-hour day shifts (8a - 8p).
  • Manage 5-9 inpatient critical care cases daily in the Pediatric Hospital Golisano CICU.
  • Conduct daily rounding, collaborating with attending physicians.
  • Perform advanced procedures including intubation, ventilation, central and arterial line placement.
  • Initiate and manage ECMO.
  • Provide hemodynamic support.
  • Oversee post-operative management.
  • Address breathing and respiratory failure cases.


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certifications: Acute Care Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-AC) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC)
  • EMR System: Epic
