Description
We are seeking a skilled Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for an engaging 60-day assignment in Arizona, starting Aug 3, 2026. This role involves a Monday through Friday clinic schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, supplemented by crucial weeknight and weekend on-call duties to ensure continuous patient care. The Physician will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN services, including patient evaluations, treatment planning, deliveries, and various surgical procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties - Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN physician services
- Conduct patient evaluations, diagnoses, treatment planning, and follow-up care
- Perform spontaneous and operative deliveries
- Perform major and minor surgical procedures including cesarean sections
- Provide emergency OB/GYN care as needed
- Make inpatient rounds in Labor & Delivery and Obstetric Care Units
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records documentation
- Coordinate referrals and specialty consultations
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff
- Participate in departmental and medical staff meetings
- Follow Joint Commission, CMS, HIPAA, and IHS standards and policies
- Maintain continuity of patient care and comply with on-call coverage requirements
Additional Information - Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break.
- Rotating weeknight on-call/standby: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM (15-hour shifts).
- Weekend on-call/standby: 24-hour coverage.
- Approximately 12 weeknight on-call shifts.
