Requirements:- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Previous experience in CVU, telemetry, ICU, or critical care preferred.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
- Knowledge of cardiovascular monitoring, cardiac rhythms, and relevant procedures.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct nursing care to CVU patients, including pre- and post-procedure monitoring.
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, hemodynamic status, and patient response to interventions.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams for patient care planning.
- Educate patients and families about cardiovascular conditions, procedures, and discharge instructions.
- Document all patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, including emergencies.
- Follow CVU policies, protocols, and safety standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.
