An Outpatient Clinic is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
Situated in the middle of the Hampton Roads region and the heart of the Mid-Atlantic, Hampton, Virginia welcomes its' guests with charming hospitality, multi-faceted attractions and activities, and an atmosphere of discovery.
This NP/PA-only role offers a flexible Monday-Friday schedule (8 AM-5 PM), with the option to work 3 or 4 days per week. There is no call, and the provider will see 15-20 patients per day across all age groups. A VA license is required, but COVID or flu vaccination is not. The practice is supported by a CMA or LPN, along with an overseeing physician on-site. The EMR system used is NextGen, with access to an AI-assisted charting system if needed. While not required, experience with minor procedures such as skin surgeries, sutures, and joint injections is a plus. Proficiency in E/M and wellness coding within a family practice setting is preferred. Credentialing takes approximately four weeks.
