Stepdown / PCU Nurse
Kentucky
Length of Assignment: 3 months
Shift: 12 Hour Nights.
Currently looking for a Stepdown/PCU Nurse to fill an opening with a Kentucky based company. Interested candidates should hold a current RN license and preferably have 1 - 2 years of tele experience.
Responsibilities of the Stepdown / PCU Nurse
Operate electrocardiograms, heart monitors and other devices
Communicate with patients and their families about their condition
Administer medications
Monitor patient’s blood pressure, breathing and other vitals through careful review of equipment and interpretation of data.
Requirements of the Stepdown / PCU Nurse
Current RN License
Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider Issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
ACLS preferred
1- 2 years of Tele experience preferred
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Must have 1 year of acute care experience within the last year
