Telemetry Nurse
Illinois
Currently looking for a Telemetry Nurse to fill an opening with a Illinois based company. Interested candidates should hold a current RN license and preferably have 1 - 2 years of tele experience.
Responsibilities of the Telemetry Nurse
Operate electrocardiograms, heart monitors and other devices
Communicate with patients and their families about their condition
Administer medications
Monitor patient’s blood pressure, breathing and other vitals through careful review of equipment and interpretation of data.
Requirements of the Telemetry Nurse
Current RN License
Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider Issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
ACLS preferred
1- 2 years of Tele experience preferred
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Must have 1 year of acute care experience within the last year
