Our client in Colorado is seeking an Occupational Medicine Physician for an 18-day assignment starting Jul 3, 2026. This role involves providing care during standard business hours, focusing on DOT physicals, evaluating and treating workplace injuries, and conducting pre-employment and fit-for-duty exams. The Physician will manage a variety of occupational health needs, ensuring comprehensive patient care and adherence to employer and DOT documentation requirements.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform DOT physicals and ensure FMCSA certification.
  • Evaluate and treat a range of workplace injuries, including common occupational musculoskeletal injuries, head injuries (for conscious and alert individuals), chest or abdominal injuries, and lacerations.
  • Conduct workers’ compensation follow-ups and provide return-to-work clearances.
  • Administer pre-employment and fit-for-duty examinations.
  • Complete all necessary employer and DOT documentation.
  • Manage basic urgent care and occupational medicine visits.
  • Address specific work-related conditions such as foreign bodies in the eye, non-penetrating eye injuries, occupational skin conditions, and work-related respiratory symptoms.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Occupational Medicine is required.
  • The facility utilizes Systoc EMR.
