Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist Opportunity Near Lincoln, NE

We are actively seeking a skilled and dedicated Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens position in a hospital setting near Lincoln, NE. This role is available ASAP and offers a chance to join a well-supported team providing anesthesia care across a diverse range of procedures.

Position Overview:

Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 8-hour shifts are available

Setting: Hospital
- Annual Surgeries: Approximately 3,600 inpatient and outpatient surgeries each year

Key Responsibilities:

Perform anesthesia for various procedures including orthopedic, spine, gynecology, urology, and gastric bypass surgeries.

Handle minimal vascular cases, with no pediatric cases involved.

Work independently with backup support from an onsite anesthesiologist.

Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records (EMR).

Collaborate with a supportive team of anesthesia providers, CRNAs, and anesthesia techs.

Requirements:

Board Certification: Required

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA, and PALS

State License: Must be licensed in Nebraska, or willing to obtain licensure.

Experience: Must be comfortable handling a variety of cases with a focus on independent work.

Additional Information:

The facility handles a high volume of cases, with a yearly total of about 3,600 surgeries.

You will be expected to work in a dynamic environment, providing anesthesia for a range of procedures while managing patient care effectively.
