Responsibilities:

Consultative Services: High-risk pregnancy consultation, routine and detailed fetal anatomic surveys, prenatal screening, and fetal diagnostic testing

Patient Care: Provide maternal and fetal care with a strong focus on prenatal diagnosis and treatment

Patient Interaction: Maintain compassionate, clinical excellence and patient satisfaction with exceptional interpersonal skills

Community Involvement: Develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients and their families

Ethical Guidelines: Adhere to the Ethical and Religious Directives in patient care

Schedule:

Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Call Schedule: Consult only with no prenatal care and no deliveries; shared call

Practice Details:

Outpatient Volume: Average of 6 to 10 patients per day

Inpatient Consultations: Conducted at a single facility with a Level 3 NICU

Procedures:
- Required: Amniocentesis
- Preferred, but not required: Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS), Percutaneous Umbilical Cord Blood Sampling (PUBS), Intrauterine Transfusion

On-site Equipment:
- GE Voluson E10
- Viewpoint Software

Referral Base: Strong support from network OB-GYNs

Ideal Candidate:

Certifications: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine

Skills: Strong emphasis on clinical excellence, prenatal diagnosis, and patient care

Commitment: Desire to foster long-term patient relationships and integrate into the community
