Description
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatrician for a 24-day locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Jun 12, 2026. This role involves working 2-3 days during the week in a clinic, managing sick and well visits, and participating in 1-in-4 or 1-in-5 weekday or weekend call. Weekend call also includes clinic hours and newborn rounding at affiliated hospitals, focusing on a variety of pediatric cases.
Responsibilities and Duties - Work in the clinic 2-3 days during the week seeing sick and well visits (cold, cough, flu, respiratory issues, minor injuries, physicals, vaccinations for school etc.).
- Take weekend or weekday call 1-in-4 or 1-in-5; call involves answering questions from an answering service.
- Weekend call includes seeing patients in the clinic 9-12 and rounding on newborns in one of the 2 affiliated hospitals in the morning (this would start later once fully credentialed through those hospitals; physicians only for hospital rounding).
Additional Information - Board certification in Pediatrics.
- Cases include cold, cough, flu, respiratory issues, minor injuries, physicals, and vaccinations for school.
- Shift hours are 10am - 6pm.
